The thing about being a spaceship captain is that you were dissuaded from seeking exactly this kind of rush. From the captain's chair, you couldn't feel the wind on your face or tearing through your longer-than-regulation hair; the thrum of engines was nothing compared to the feel of a well trained mount charging across the plain towards your enemy. You couldn't look over and see the look of exhilaration on your companion's faces as they raced alongside of you, eyes bright, cheeks flush with the thrill of imminent combat.
