Flash Fic - 60 words
Original story
Written mostly in my head on my walk in to work one morning, and refined from there.
Not really sure what else to do with it, so - enjoy!
The Call
She woke with a power alive inside her.
At first she thought it was her power.
Walking alone, in the park under the moon, along an empty street under yellow-orange street lamps, she raised her arms.
"Come to me," she called.
She could still feel it, coiling in her chest.
Come to me
"Yes," she answered.
It expanded; she was claimed.
