What Brother Phineas didn’t know couldn’t hurt him, Obern figured. The florist down on Water Street was having a sale, and if they saved some on this week’s arrangements, why shouldn’t they replace some of the old blankets they kept around to warm the pews on colder days?

And if they were going to be replaced, why not give the old ones away to a family in need?

So, screw the flowers. And maybe they didn’t need the higher quality candles for the votives either… The Gods, he reasoned, could surely handle a few sacrifices to help the less fortunate.

Father of the Bride

He knew no one was watching him as they came down the isle. Ysana had argued for a small wedding - everyone there was important to her and Halden. If she was radiant (and she was), it wasn’t the expensive dress, or make-up, or artfully arranged hair, but the joy that filled her and pulled her just a little too quickly toward the enraptured young man towering over the priest some few feet away.

Oh, I have been planning this for a while. Well, I had something else planned, but in-game events made me change my plans. In the end it is for the best I think - I now Know just how to end this thing! Don't know exactly how I'll get everything in to pace yet, though :) We shall see!

I told you I was working on other stuff! I'm not quite throgh with the Wheeljack PoV, but this part seemed to form a natural arc, with the next bit being somewhat different in tenor, so I figured I'd cut it off here - it's already 150% the length of the first bit!

You can tell how much time School's been eating up by how much defiant writing I've been doing :V I had caffeine too late last night, and stayed up an hour and a hlaf past my bedtime to write this little interlude between sessions in Faust.

So, this probably requires a little bit of explanation. Once upon a time I used to be a member of ther Camarilla, a White Wolf larp fanclub kind of deal. This was old school World of Darkness era. One of the local games was live action Werewolf game. I played an Uktena kinfolk hedge witch. She was very much based on me in some ways - she was an anthropoliogy graduate studuent who was interestd in pagan movements. She might have been a little bit 'Mary Sue' in that sense, except that the way in which she was set apart from everyone made her a second class citizen who was less powerful than everyone else and who was disqualified from interacting in most of the ongoing plots ;) Anyway. The scenario described in the beginning of this piece was something that came across one of the mailing lists, and this is always how I/Ellen felt about it. Not that she ever got to meet any Elders, or that they would have ever listened to her. Anyway, I don't know why I was thinking about it this morning, but it woke me up so I figured I might as well put it on 'paper' :)
