Measured Words

So, I successfully Trope Bingoed! I have been saving the stories to post here all at once, and shall do so now. I have been generally consumed by some Diablotin characters of late, and so I decided to focus entirely on them, or at least on one of them. The stories here should all be accessible, as it is all either pre-campaign/canon stuff (so background that is established here and not anywhere else), or alternative universe. The setting is what miiiight make is not accessible, I guess, to others. But feel free to give 'em a shot and let me know what you think!

This is basiucally another catch-uo post, to let anyone over here know what I have been writing.... Since joining fan_flashworks I have actually been pretty good at writing regularly, if not prolifically! I'll stick all the Adventure World stuff in this post, and do a separate one to capture the few (I mean like....2 :p) stories in other fandoms. I continue to delude myself that you can pretty much follow the Adventure World stuff thtrough fic alone, without knowing the fandom (by which I mean... being in the game >.>), but I don't think anyone is buying it :p

I was talking to my sister this morning about her Changeling game, which inspired me to look through some of the older material I have on my hard drive, and found this.... written in 2003! Wacky. I did really like that character, and I also really like my narrator and story structure, though I have no particular recollection of who they were...

Practically the only character in this that is mine is Jeremy, and a lot of the material is drawn from ladyiolanthe's Changeling campaign of... many many years ago @_@, and most of the dialog comes from irc logs. Thanks to the same for some edits I found in the old file! Also, there may be some formatting weirdness, though I've tried to clean it up as best as possible.

I am sad that I really really do not have time for august_writing again this year - since I'm going back in to the field next week, it just really wasn't feasible.

Look, something not Star trek related! It is gaming related though. I wrote this little sermon for a character I kind of play in a LARP. She's essentially a nun - she belongs to a holy order that worships the God(ess?) of Secrets and Darkness, Dietremen. This isn't going to get a lot of circulation in game, and ai'm an attention whore, and also it was a really interesting challenge, so I'm posting it here. Enjoy?
