I haven't had a chance yet to properly squee over all the Amazing! Stories I got this year! All of them :D I'm full of loooooove :D I got sent to the pinch hit list this year, and OMG all the stories are true! I have *FIVE* stories as a result! So full of Yuletide love! Three out of four fandoms represented - everything but my crackiest request, which is probably fair. So, without further flailing, here we go!

Affairs of Princes (1110 words) by Anonymous
Fandom: The Masqueraders - Georgette Heyer
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Robin Tremaine/Charles Edward Stuart
Characters: Robin Tremaine, Charles Edward Stuart
Summary:

"Do you prefer the spinster to the prince?"

Robin's eyes were alight with deviltry. "Let me simply say...that I appreciate both of them."

A reunion, crossdressing, and a parting in Paris! Lovely!

A deliberate madness (2398 words) by Anonymous
Fandom: The Masqueraders - Georgette Heyer
Rating: Explicit
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Robin Tremaine/Charles Edward Stuart
Characters: Robin Tremaine, Charles Edward Stuart
Summary:

Robin knows that this can be only an interlude, or a dream, but he desires it all the same. He's the Prince's man to command.

Same pairing, more hot porns! It's really quite perfectly done! I love the dynamic between them here... And Disapproving John, of course :D

In Saraseil (2474 words) by Anonymous
Fandom: Cloud Roads - Martha Wells
Rating: Explicit
Warning: Graphic Depictions Of Violence, Rape/Non-Con
Relationships: Moon (Cloud Roads)/Liheas (Cloud Roads)
Characters: Moon (Cloud Roads), Liheas (Cloud Roads)
Summary:

"You knew me in Saraseil."

This is just what I was hoping for when I asked for the missing scene - I'm really grateful that someone actaully wrote this for me - I really wanted to know more about how this went and how it affected Moon in the moment, and this shows that off wonderfully!

December 8, 1957 (1966 words) by Anonymous
Fandom: English and Scottish Popular Ballads - Francis James Child
Rating: Not Rated
Warning: Author Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings
Characters: Lamkin
Summary:

Fred told Gloria to beware.

An interesting take on the Lamkin story, and one that I think works really well. Beware of Long Lankin, indeed... Murder ballad love!

What brings you here so late? (359 words) by Anonymous
Fandom: English and Scottish Popular Ballads - Francis James Child
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: The False Knight, The Child
Summary:

All the ways the tale might be told, and one in particular.

I have half a suspicion about who might maybe have written this, maybe. It is a sort of essential version of the story, as the summary says, and I think it captures the whole of it really well.
