Invisible ficaton!

Man, I made out like a bandit! I got one main story and three snacks! And they were all delightful in their own special ways ^-^

My main gift was from tielan, who wrote me Fox Force Five, which was the failed pilot from Pulp Fiction. I asked for Hanako (the name I gave to the "Japanese Fox who knows Kung-fu") talking to her mentor, which is what I got. And of course her mentor is another awesome lady :D

Two of the snacks I got were short little Ghost Soup ficlets. The firs one was terrible, and got the characters names backwards! And then in the reply to my carefully crafted passive aggressive thank you note, were wrong again! Which is to say it was brilliant ^-^

In any case, I was super spoiled! I wish I had been able to write more stuff, but the timing was bad. That said, I did manage two pieces for my recip, basically because I wrote the one and then angsted that it wasn't really what she'd asked for. And so my response was then to write her something else that wasn't exactly what she'd asked for /o\ Neither went against the prompts though, just took things down a slightly different road. And both got good comments, so I will be happy with that :)

The first one I wrote was my first foray into the Ghost Soup fandom as a writer, taking on some character backstory for Ghost Soup Infidel Purple:

And the second was for Wendy the Werewolf Stalker, which is from a comic world I confess I know very little about (well, okay, it is from Young Justice), and was thus wary of actually using the character from said comic who was in the (fictional) show. I write this one pretty much in a single sitting, which is always nice when it happens. It was cool to sneak in lots of worldbuilding and backstory for characters who didn't exist. To me, this really feels like a fanfic, even if the show isn't real.
