I think everyone is glad Nero is back.... but especially Ayel!
As for the woman, not Cardassian, though I toyed with it and apparently some of the aesthetics stuck. But the Romulans and Cardassians were pretty familiar with each other in the future the crew are from, having been on-again, off-again allies and enemies in TNG and DS9.
Half my first names are Welsh - they work surprisingly well! I did do a lot of research for the other names though >:D
