Alphabet Meme

I'm stealing this from velvetmouse because I would like some little scraps of writing I can do!

So here's how we're going to play this: I write out the alphabet below. You give me a word for an unclaimed letter, a fandom and characters. I write either a single (100 words) or a double (200 words) drabble. Rejoicing happens.

As for fandoms, I'm willing to push myself a bit so feel free to ask for things that aren't on the list and if I don't know them at all, I'll let you know :3 feel free to ask for OCs and world building stuff, because I love that shit and its a fun challenge to do it with drabbles.

The guards looked at the corpse, and then to Colon. He cleared his throat, feeling a little hot under the chainmail.

"Well, it seems clear to me that-"

"Holy sausages!" It was Nipkin, one of the new recruits, pointing at a suspiciously shaped...item lying in the shadows a few feet away. "Is that his....holy sausage?"
Guard work certainly could be unsettling, but Nobby saved him the distress - or *some* distress - by sidling over and picking it up. And taking a large bite out of it.

"'S a zucchini, Sarge. A Sto-Hilt Select."

Colon smiled grimly. "The courgette cudgeller strikes again!"

U is for Universe, Mr. and his Love-bot (I *swear* you asked for this, but now I can't find where :o)

Lenore made him happy - simple as that. It was by no means a conventional arrangement, but even if his tastes didn't run as they did, Mr. Universe had no delusions that his lifestyle would appeal to a real woman.

Lenore doted on him at his convenience. She didn't get offended if he ignored her for days while developing some nuanced code or tracking down some obtuse government conspiracy, or both.

Lenore didn't laugh if he got out of his chair for a victory dance, but she did always smile when he came to her for a more intimate celebration.

Some people found him excitable, but this was exactly the sort of situation he had trained for, and the tension fueled him. This patient was one of a small group of unfamiliar aliens (he had theories on their origins) that had sneaked through Dominion controlled space, seeking refuge with the enemy of their enemy.

They hadn't come through unscathed, and it was up to him to figure out, quickly, what could be done to ensure that whatever they'd suffered wouldn't be in vain. There was something in the readings - something more than trauma. He smiled as the realization dawned.

Mal'd been relieved once he'd confirmed that the emergency alert that had come in over the Alliance channels hadn't been for his ship. He might have pitied whatever poor bastard they were after, but mostly he was glad it wasn't him. 'Specially when he saw the trap they were laying.

River was sitting at the helm, watching out into the black when the chase coursed by before them. The rogue ship was a thing of beauty, dancing through the web the Alliance had set.
"She drives it with her brain," she muttered enigmatically, "She can't run, but she can fly."
