Yuletide reveals 2016

measured_wordsI posted a few recs over at my other journal (elanya), but reveals seemed to make the most sense in here. So!
This year I wrote three full length stories and three madness treats - far more than I was expecting!

Summary:
--This was my official assignment, and the second time writing this fandom for Naraht! I took one of her prompts, took a look at the text, and then did way too much reading up on Stockholm, medical and glbt history in Sweden, 1930 camping, and so on! I sometimes have a had time judging how well I pull off my ideas and I wasn't super confident of this, but it seems to have succeeded! In the novel, Hilary's assessments of both other women and of herself, are realy interesting, and I wanted to put those under close scrutiny. And of course everything is really abot Lisa Clare.

--This was a pinch hit, basically! There were almost no details in the request other then a vague request for backstory. This is....semi obscure, I'll say, as Hessionite is mentioned by Alabaster in a few scenes, though the nature of their relationship is clear. I wanted to take a little peek at things before Alabaster was totally jaded (see what i did there? :V). It seems to be well received by those who read it, at least, and I did get a rec, so yay!

I can't help it!
