The humans didn't know how good they had it. She watched them mill around the stalls outside, looking through fresh produce, snacking on a variety of ethnic foods from the vendors closer to St John Street. To her right, three small girls cooed over a box of kittens someone had dumped next to the stand of hippy clothing. Cute but pointless – her mission was inside the market building. Reaching the long line in front of Patel's, she waited. Maybe the humans didn't know what was coming, but *she* was going to be prepared.
"I want to buy all your samosas."
