Drabble #1 - House/Wilson!

For anyone who may read this journal but not my main one - I let my friend's list challenge me to write 10 drabbles (short 100 word fics) in various fandoms/genres. I am too brain dead to work on Pieces tonight, but these seem more manageable, so maybe I can get a few done and you'll forgive yet another broken promise.

This one is for longpig. A perfect 100 word drabble. Not bad for my first shot ;)


Wilson was asleep on the couch; a reasonable thing to be doing at 3 AM. He looked too comfortable, half covered by a sheet, one visible leg clothed in cozy plaid pyjamas. It just wouldn't do - it was *his* couch after all.

Minutes later, House returned to the living room ready for bed. Lying his cane against an end table he proceeded to lay down - on top of Wilson.

The other doctor awoke with a start.

"This couch isn't big enough for the two of us."

"It could be…"

"Fine. But I get to be the big spoon."

I'm not sure who says the last line, I don't know if you did that on purpose. The beauty of it is that it's snark worthy of either Wilson or House. :D

"In Swedish the word for 'friend' also translates as 'limping twerp'." (Okay, I'm quoting off the top of my head, so I'm sure it's not entirely accurate.)

Bwah! Love it. Must get House on DVD. Must.
