xypharan asked me for something to take place in his superhero universe. We call it 'DC', which is funny, because it has nothing to do with DC except for some borrowed Vertigo elements. The rules system is technically called Blood of Heroes these days. I think the name just proves that gamers are a stubborn breed and slow to change ;) I tried out various scenes in my mind using pre-existing characters, but none of them pleased me. So I decided to do this instead, which is related a new breed of mutant/superheroes that have appeared relatively recently. Its alternate title is "Chalk One Up for the Allfather..." fritzleonhardt. He akesd for just about the most unikely of pairings from the DC heros games that xypharan run - His (recently deceased) grizzled old black ops colonel, and my youmng disembodies amnesiac who lives in a computer. Well, this is the best I coudl do. I'm happy with it, anyway ^-^ mousme: Apo, and Nary, even. I hope you enjoy :) For others, these are characters from an awesome SciFi game run by forthright about a year ago. Apo was my character and Nary curtana's. The only time I ever had a character get hitched in game. Also probably the most clinically insane character I have ever played.
fritzleonhardt's online game, The Five Kingdoms. I have only played her once so far, but I went to such trouble to write up a long background that I figured I can't just keep it to myself. So, people who read this who are in the game, read at your own discretion ;) Others should be warned that it is quite dark in places. A more general warning should be issued that is is just a character background, and those it is fairly long and contains a pretty long coherent story, the narrative style is pretty basic and there isn't any real conclusion. Still, I thought some people might be interested or curious! Please comment of you read it. On a related note, I could really use a gaming icon...
